“The World of Saken Zhunusov in Books”

01/29/2024 In the Central Regional Children’s Library, a book exhibition “The World of Saken Zhunusov in Books” was prepared, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Saken Zhunusov.

The children were told about the life and work of the writer, who invested a lot of effort in the development of Kazakh literature and took an active part in the work of the Kazakh branch of the Literary Fund of the USSR and the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan. Young readers were introduced to a summary of his most striking and famous works, among which “Epiphany” and “The Last Car” especially interested and touched children.

The goals are to introduce children to the biography and work of the famous writer Saken Zhunusov; expand ideas about Kazakh literature and its history; arouse interest in domestic works; form the correct aesthetic perception.
