«The Creative Heritage of the Artist»

25/04/2024 The Marinovskaya rural children’s library held an hour of art «The Creative Heritage of the Artist», dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the famous artist A. Kasteev.
The purpose of the event: to introduce the life and work of the artist; develop artistic and aesthetic taste, the ability to see beauty; expand your horizons; cultivate a sense of patriotism and love for Kazakh history.
Abylkhan Kasteev was born into a large family of a poor cattle breeder. Fate was favorable to him, but at the same time strict throughout his life.
Having lost my father early, I had to work almost from the age of eight. First in his native village as a shepherd, then as a laborer in Dzharkent, and later on the construction of Turksib.
Abylkhan always combined work with painting; he enthusiastically painted every free minute.
A. Kasteev left behind a huge creative legacy, carefully preserved in the funds of the State Museum of Art, the Central State Museum, the Museum of the East (Moscow), in private collections and the personal archive of the family. Each work is the history of the people, the history of Kazakh painting, which, together with the first Kazakh artist, turned 120 years old this year.
