“The Age of Man”

In the Timashevsk Rural Library, a video review was conducted for all groups of readers on the topic “The Age of Man” dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the birth of D.A. Konaeva (1912.12.01-1993.22.08)
Kunaev Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich — member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, was born on January 12, 1912 in the city of Verny, Semirechinsk region of the Turkestan Governor General, graduated from high school, and in 1936 from the Moscow Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold, receiving a diploma » mining engineer». Kunaev combined government work with scientific activities. His works are devoted to the most important issues in the theory and practice of open-pit mining.
D.A. Kunaev was awarded 8 orders and medals, foreign awards.
A bronze bust of D.A. Kunaev (1978) was installed in Almaty. Memorial plaque. A college and an institute of mining were named after him in 1974. Streets in Almaty, Astana and other cities in Kazakhstan bear his name. A charitable foundation named after D.A. Kunaev was created.
Goal: to tell and acquaint readers about the life and work of the famous figure D.A. Konaev.
