“Native Virgin Land”

03/12/2024 The Borisov Rural Library hosted a local history excursion “Native Virgin Land” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the development of virgin and fallow lands. Purpose: to introduce the history of virgin soil raising. To cultivate patriotic feelings for the Motherland, caring attitude towards bread and working people.
At the beginning of the event, readers got acquainted with the presentation “Place of heroism — Virgin Land!” where information about virgin lands was presented. Children read poems and took part in a local history quiz. The library also has a book exhibition displaying rich local history material — books, illustrations, photo albums. These memories do not disappear without a trace. They remain in memories, in photographs — captured moments in the history of our village.
