“Heroes live nearby”

15/02/2024 The Marinovskaya rural model library, together with the local history museum and the children’s library, organized a memorial evening “Heroes live nearby”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
Afghan war veterans were invited to the event.
The purpose of the event: to expand knowledge about the war in Afghanistan;
introduce war heroes;
cultivate respect for the heroic deeds of warriors.
During the event, those present plunged into the years of the Afghan War, episodes of those terrible events were demonstrated, the participants of the event read poetry and sang songs. At the end of the event, a tea party was organized.
