“And the learned cat told me his fairy tales”
On 06/06/2024, Pushkin Day was held in the Marinovskaya rural children’s library, in honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin “And the learned cat told me his fairy tales.”
The purpose of the event: acquaintance with the poet’s work, developing reader interest in Pushkin’s fairy tales.
The librarian introduced the children to the children’s books that are available in the library and offered to answer quiz questions. The guys actively answered questions, showing good knowledge of the fairy tales of the great Russian poet. Pushkin has fairy tales with different plots, but they are all united by one main idea — you need to be grateful for what you have, know when to stop and never be greedy. This was especially evident in “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish,” which was shown by the librarians in their puppet dramatization. The heroine of this fairy tale had negative qualities: greed, envy and anger. As a result, she got what she deserved; you need to be able to be happy with what you have. Pushkin’s fairy tales teach us to be kind, fair and merciful.
