“Baubek — the hero of our country”

in the Timashevsky rural library, a historical hour was held for all groups of readers on the topic “Baubek — the hero of our country” dedicated to the 108th anniversary of the hero of the Second World War Baubek Bulkishev.
Librarian: introduced our readers to the life and work of the hero Baubek Bulkishuly, he was born in 1916 in the Karaganda region, Ulytau region of the Kazakh SSR.
During my student years, I wrote the poem «Balalyk shak» («Childhood») and then the story «Auyldan, Almatyga» (From the village to Almaty» 1935)
He wrote in Kazakh and Russian.
Baubek in 1939 was an employee of the republican newspaper «Leginshil Zhas» (now «Zhas Alash»), then head of the department of the newspaper «Kazakhstan Pioneers» (now «Ulan»)
In 1940 he was drafted into the Red Army and studied at the Moscow Military School. A participant in the Second World War in 1942-1943, the newspaper «Komsomolskaya Pravda» published Bulkishev’s essays, created in the form of a letter: «About life and death», «Listen to the Caucasus», «I want to live», «Life belongs to us», «Cunning and love» , «Letter to the Son of the East.»
Bulkishev is the author of the story «Golden Watch» and the unfinished novel «Alma-Ata — My City.»
The works of Baubek Bulkishev were published in the literary collections “The Life of a Soldier” in 1946, “Journalists in Greatcoats” in 1968.
The heroic Baubek died fighting for his homeland in 1944 in Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk region, Safievsky district.
Goal: to familiarize the hero of the Second World War Baubek Bulkishev, to know his works and remember, to honor their memory.
