“Heroes of Star Roads”
On Cosmonautics Day, our young readers took a trip on the theme “Heroes of Star Roads.” The librarian spoke about the first living beings to visit space, about the famous dogs Laika, Belka, Strelka and their further fate after the flight. The story continued about the first cosmonaut Yu. A. Gagarin. A pleasant surprise for the presenters was that the children actively participated in the space quiz, answering questions about the first flight of an astronaut, what animals flew into space, what color the spacesuit was, the name of the rocket, the flight time, how the astronauts ate, the name of Yu. A. Gagarin’s landing site and many other questions. During the event, poems about space and Yuri Gagarin were read, and riddles on the topic were solved. At the end of the event, they reviewed the books presented at the exhibition and showed photographs of the first astronauts
