“Reading the Books of the Year”

On 27/02/2024, as part of the “One Country – One Book” campaign, the Pokrovsk Rural Library held a literary hour “Reading the Books of the Year”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer, classic of children’s literature, Kazakh writer Berdibek Sokpakbayev
Goal: introducing children to the life and work of children’s writer B. Sokpakbaev, nurturing love and interest in the writer’s works.
During the event, the librarian spoke about the “One Country – One Book” campaign, about the writer’s childhood and youth, his creative path and presented the books that the writer wrote: “My name is Kozha”, “Journey to Childhood”, “Champion”.
