“Afghanistan Hurts in My Soul”

On February 15, 2024, a memorial evening “Afghanistan Hurts in My Soul” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan was held in the Telman Rural Library. The librarian told those present about the pages of the history of the Afghan war, about courage and bravery. We remembered the fellow villagers who did not return from the war, and those who returned and are still with us. The event was attended by the mother of our Afghan, M. I. Lyubitskaya, and the son, R. N. Kurgan. They told many interesting stories. Belitskaya K, Kurgan N, Oskanova P, Varkentin T also performed poems.
