Zhuban Moldagaliyev

On August 27, 2025, the Poltava rural library held a literary hour dedicated to the life and work of the Kazakh poet Zhuban Moldagaliyev.
The librarian told the children about the poet’s life path, how his fate developed and how he came to literature.
Special attention was paid to poems dedicated to the Motherland, work, friendship, and spiritual values. His works have been translated into many languages of the peoples of the CIS.
In just 50 years of work in literature, he wrote hundreds of lyric poems, more than a dozen and a half poems. For the last two, «Eagle Steppe», «Mill» he received the USSR State Prize, and the book «Broken Fetters» was awarded the Abai State Prize.
Such events are aimed at introducing children to the creative heritage of the writer, fostering interest in Kazakh literature, love for their native land and respect for cultural traditions.
