“When I stand at the eternal flame”
On May 9, 2024, a memory lesson “When I stand at the eternal flame” was held in the Sepeevskaya rural library for Victory Day. The Great Patriotic War is moving further into history, the events of the war years have already become an era. It is extremely important to preserve the memory of this war, to convey to young people and future generations respect for the feat of the older generation, an understanding of the significance of the Great Victory for our country and the whole world. The eternal flame burning on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier as a symbol of memory of the heroes who fell on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War… Neither heavy rains nor an evil wind can extinguish it. Time has no power over him, just as it is powerless over human memory, which forces the living to come to this sacred place and look in fascination at the flames rushing upward.
