On January 29, 2024, the Pokrovsk Rural Library held a memorial day “Tribute to the Memory of Zh. Esekenov”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the akyn, journalist, zhyrshy-zhyrau Zh. Esekenov.
The librarian introduced readers to the life and work of Zhumabai Yesekenov.
