“Through the Pages of I.A. Krylov”

On March 26, 2024, as part of Children’s and Youth Book Week, the Novomarinovsk Rural Library held a literary hour “Through the Pages of I.A. Krylov,” dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of I.A. Krylov.
Goal: to expand readers’ knowledge about the life and work of I.A. Krylov.
The librarian spoke about the life path of the fabulist. The event was held in the form of a game. A literary quiz “Wise Fables” was prepared for the participants of the event. Guests actively took part in competitions: “Who owns these words?”, “Continue the phrase.” «Guess the hero.» At the end of the event, they concluded that Krylov’s wise fables are not outdated and teach to understand true values, folk wisdom and expand life experience. They encourage us not to put ourselves above others, to do good deeds and useful deeds.
