“These funny birds”

On 01/04/2024, the Sadovaya rural library held a quiz “These funny birds” dedicated to International Bird Day (environmental education).
Goal: to cultivate a sense of responsibility and respect for the natural world and birds. The librarian told the children about the history of the holiday, the benefits of birds, their role in nature and human life. The children took an active part in the quiz, remembered proverbs and sayings, and also guessed riddles and words about the names of birds. We played the game “The Birds Have Arrived” and “Guess the Bird from the Description.” At the end of the quiz, the librarian talked about the amazing names of birds — “Slave Bird”, “Builder Bird”, “Acrobat Bird” and many others.
