“The Work of Saken Seifulin”

Saken is an outstanding talented personality in the firmament of the Kazakh people. He selflessly loved his people, and all his efforts were aimed at their benefit. Saken Seifullin is a person who will always be with the people, and who left deep respect for himself in the memory of the people. Seifullin’s work left an indelible mark on the history of his native literature. It also has a significant influence on the modern literary movement. His devotion to the ideas of the proletarian revolution, innovation born of a great goal, are a high example for modern writers. From his pen came many poems, plays, novels, stories and essays. Among them are the poems “Sovetstan”, “Kyzyl At”, the play “Red Falcons”, the memoirs “Thorny Path”, the novel “Our Life”, the poetry collection “Past Days” and other works. In a very short time he created the play “On the Path to Happiness.” The play based on it was staged in the spring of 1918. At the same time, the poet wrote the first Kazakh song of revolutionaries.
On June 25, 2024, a literary hour “The Work of Saken Seifulin” was held in the Telman rural library. The librarian spoke about the work of S. Seifulin. Readers were presented with the presentation “This is our biography.”
Purpose of the event: to acquaint readers with the biography of Saken Seifulin; consider the moments of his political and creative activity; determine its historical place.
