“The Legacy of the Artist”

On 06/06/2024, a historical hour was held in the Sepeevsky rural library for the 120th anniversary of Abylkhan Kasteev, “The Legacy of the Artist.” It is impossible to imagine Kazakh fine art without Abylkhan Kasteev. In the State Museum of Art you can see many of the works of the legendary artist. The most famous of them are “Collective Farm Dairy Farm”, “Milking Mares”, “Cotton Harvesting”, “Collective Farm Toy”, “Bride Kidnapping”, “Bought Bride”, “Golden Grain”, “Aksai Quarry”, “Medeo High Mountain Skating Rink” »
Abylkhan Kasteev was one of the founders of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan. With his unique art, he raised Kazakh culture to a new stage. The purpose of the event: to familiarize readers with the artist’s works, to cultivate aesthetic taste through a love of national art.
