“The Country that United Nations”

On April 30, 2024, the Pokrovsk Rural Library held a patriotic hour “The Country that United Nations” for the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
Goal: to form friendly relationships between people;
— cultivate friendly relationships between people of different nationalities;
— cultivate a sense of patriotism, love and respect for the Motherland: its customs and traditions.
The librarian spoke about the history of the Unity Day holiday and the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. It was said that the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan has become a symbol of friendship, unity and creativity of all Kazakhstanis, regardless of nationality and religion. The presenter’s words alternated with the performance of poems about Friendship, Motherland, and Kazakhstan. During the event, a quiz was held with the children, in which they had to guess which item belongs to which nationality.
