Tenge — the National Currency of Kazakhstan

On November 14, 2025, at 3:30 PM, a video presentation dedicated to National Currency Day, «Tenge — the National Currency of Kazakhstan,» was held for all reader groups at the Timashevskaya Rural Library.

It’s been 32 years since the tenge came into force.
Money has always reflected the level and degree of development of our country.
The national currency ensured the country’s economic independence; today, a modern market economy has been established in the country.
Kazakhstan has become a reliable partner for many countries in the global community.
Our goal for this event is to introduce readers to the history of the tenge.
