«Tenge in the flow of history»

On November 13, 2024, the Poltava rural library held an educational hour «Tenge in the flow of history» for the National Currency Day — tenge.
The purpose of the event: to tell about the history of the national currency, the role and significance of tenge in the country’s economy and in the life of each person, to emphasize the historical importance of the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The librarian said that the national currency is one of the mandatory symbols of a sovereign state. The librarian told those present the history of the formation of the national currency, how the national currency was created, where the first tenge were printed, how they were put into circulation, the children learned the names of the designers of the national currency.
