«Semipalatinsk test site — nuclear disaster»

On August 20, 2024, the Novomarinovskaya rural library held a history hour «Semipalatinsk test site — nuclear disaster», dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the first ground-based nuclear explosion at the Semipalatinsk test site.
Objective: to tell about the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, about the consequences, about the environmental problem, and about caring for the environment.
The librarian told about the history of the Semipalatinsk test site, about many thousands of lives taken, twisted destinies, subsequent mutations and many other consequences.
