“Sagadat Nurmagambetov — People’s Hero”

24/05/24 The Central District Children’s Library held an information hour “Sagadat Nurmagambetov — People’s Hero” on the 100th anniversary of the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kakarmany, front-line soldier, Army General Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov. The purpose of this event was to show students through a popular form of communication and education of a worthy citizen who has absorbed universal and national values. The librarian told the biography of her many years of service in the Armed Forces, devoting her life to military affairs, and a video was shown about the feat of the hero-commander. An extensive book exhibition “A Worthy Son of the Kazakh People” was organized, at which those present got acquainted with his author’s books “Facing the Fire”, “My Frontier”, “And there is no silence in memory”. Sagadat Nurmagambetov made an invaluable contribution to the preservation, formation and strengthening of the Armed Forces of our country.
