08.11.2024 The Central District Children’s Library held an information hour «Revival of the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people» (Itkoilek)
The librarian said that culture has been formed over centuries and the basis of any civilization is folk traditions, rituals and customs exist among peoples of the whole world. They reflect the way of life of the people, their habits, national and cultural characteristics. The children actively participated in the quiz, enthusiastically talked about the traditions and customs that they know.
The purpose of the event is to cultivate in children interest and respect for the culture of their country and people; to form knowledge about Kazakh traditions and rituals.
