“Reading Books of the Year”

On February 29, 2024, the Garden Rural Library, as part of the republican campaign “One Country, One Book,” prepared a media review “Reading Books of the Year,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer, classic of children’s literature Berdibek Sokpakbayev.
Goal: acquaintance with the life and work of children’s writer B. Sokpakbaev.
Berdibek Sokpakbaev began his writing career with a collection of poems. It was published in 1950 and immediately found its readers. The writer’s next book, the story “Champion,” was published in 1951.
The fate of Berdibek Sokpakbaev was tragic. He was truly appreciated only after he passed away.
