«One Country — One Book»

On April 25, 2024, as part of the Republican campaign «One Country — One Book», the rural library of Akan Kurmanov conducted a literary journey «Skin — a hero from childhood» through the works of the writer, poet, screenwriter Berdibek Sokpakbaev. The author’s books are based on his childhood and youth, some of them are based on his personal childhood memories. The work of B. Sokpakbaev is familiar to everyone from the work “My name is Kozha”. An unstoppable dreamer, a mischievous person, a playful schoolboy, Kozha remains one of the favorite literary and screen characters.
