Native language — the heritage of ancestors

On September 15, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., a cognitive hour “Native language — the heritage of ancestors” was held in the Yesengeldy rural library for the Day of Languages ​​of the People of Kazakhstan.
At the beginning of the event, the librarian told the children about the history of the holiday, the role of language in the life of each person, as well as the importance of preserving and developing the languages ​​of the people of Kazakhstan.
Then the event continued with the game “Kingdom of Mistakes”. The children were divided into two teams “Otan” and “Tugan Zher”. The participants completed various tasks with interest: found errors in texts; made up words; translated words into Kazakh; found the continuation of proverbs.
At the end of the event, the children came to the conclusion that learning languages ​​helps to better understand each other and live in peace and harmony.
All participants were awarded sweet prizes.
