“My native village — my living history”

29/04/2024, the Novomarinovskaya rural library held an hour of local history
“My native village — my living history”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of its founding
village of Novomarinivka.
Goal: developing a feeling of love for your small homeland, the place in which you grew up and live.
From the librarian’s story, the event participants learned about the historical past of the village, its origin and name. We got acquainted with the stands “They were the first”, “From the history of the village”. Looking at black and white photographs, the children recognized their relatives, friends and acquaintances. Many of the buildings depicted in the photographs no longer exist; others have acquired a modern appearance. Those present were shown the theatrical production “To Virgin Lands!” Poems and songs about their native village were sung.
