«My Journey to Childhood»

11/10/2024 Marinovskaya rural children’s library held a literary discussion «My Journey to Childhood» for the 100th anniversary of the birth of children’s writer B. Sokpakbaev.
Objective: popularization of literature, increasing public interest in reading, developing readers’ interest in the literary heritage of B. Sokpakbaev.
Sokpakbaev Berdibek is a children’s writer of Kazakhstan, poet, screenwriter, author of numerous works about children.

During the event, students got acquainted with the life and work of the writer and his works. The children demonstrated their knowledge of the work of B. Sokpakbaev, answered questions. The readers were presented with books such as «Ayazhan», «Duel», «Champion», «My name is Kozha» and others. The theme of childhood and youth is the basis of all his books. Sokpakbaev’s works are mostly autobiographical and have been translated into many languages ​​​​of the peoples of the USSR and abroad. Sokpakbaev’s books are waiting for you on the shelves of our library.
