“Memory of Bitter Years”

On May 31, 2024, in the Sepeevskaya rural library, on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression, a lesson of courage “Memory of Bitter Years” was held. On May 31, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression and Famine of the early 30s of the last century. The purpose of the event: to acquaint readers with the historical past of their Motherland. Readers learned about the most tragic pages of the history of Kazakhstan — mass political repressions, about the GULAG, KARLAG, ALZHIR camps and about the Alashorda movement.
