“Memory of Bitter Years”

30/05/2024 On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression, the Borisov Rural Library held a history hour “Memory of Bitter Years.” Goal: to form in readers an idea of ​​the scale of mass repressions and their manifestations in Kazakhstan, analysis and assessment of the causes of mass terror. The librarian spoke about the tragic events of 1937-1938, and about the sacred duty of the living to honor the memory of those who have died and suffered. Also in the library there is a book exhibition “Milestones of Memory”.
