“Master of Russian Drama”

On March 14, 2024, the Telman Rural Library hosted a literary salon “Master of Russian Drama” dedicated to the work of A.N. Ostrovsky. During the event, the librarian introduced the participants to the interesting, rich and at the same time difficult life of the writer, spoke about his contribution to modern theater art. Those present got acquainted with the famous plays of Ostrovsky: “The Thunderstorm”, “Dowry”, “Poverty is not a vice”, “Simplicity is enough for every wise man”, “Snow Maiden”. An open screening of “His creations are immortal» was organized for the event, at which books by A. N. Ostrovsky.
