“Margulan’s Heritage – National Pride”

On April 17, 2024, the Novomarinovskaya Rural Library held an informational minute “Margulan’s Heritage – National Pride”, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh scientist, archaeologist, historian, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR Alkey Khakanovich Margulan.
Goal: familiarization with the enormous contribution of the scientist in the study of the history, culture and science of the Kazakh people, popularization of the outstanding personality of the first archaeologist — academician of Kazakhstan.
The librarian spoke about the multifaceted aspects of his scientific and social activities, the significance of the works of Alkey Khakanovich in the study of the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, his contribution to the study of the scientific heritage of Sh. Ualikhanov, as well as his attention to the ethnography of the history of the peoples of Eurasia, including his work in the field of oral folklore creativity.
