Malik Gabdullin: Era, Personality, Memory

On November 13, 2025, at 3:30 PM, the Poltava Rural Library hosted a roundtable discussion titled «Malik Gabdullin: Era, Personality, Memory,» dedicated to the life and work of Malik Gabdullin, an outstanding son of the Kazakh people and Hero of the Soviet Union, scientist, writer, and public figure.
The librarian spoke about the hero’s life, his participation in the Great Patriotic War, and his courage and love for his homeland. Particular attention was paid to the writer’s literary legacy—his memoirs and works, which explore themes of heroism, friendship, and loyalty to duty.
A book exhibition, «A Life Filled with Feat,» was also held for readers, featuring books about Malik Gabdullin.
These events aim to introduce readers to Gabdullin’s rich, spiritual legacy, his contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, science, and the patriotic education of youth.
