“Magic Winter Book”
On January 12, 2024, the Central District Children’s Library held the “Magic Winter Book” event as part of the Winter Reading Program for 4th grade students.
The librarian told the students of school 7 about the features of the winter period, the magic of snowfall and how animals prepare for winter and welcome it cordially. The children enjoyed reciting poems about winter, guessing riddles, and answering winter quiz questions. Particular attention was paid to fairy tales and children’s books, filled with an atmosphere of winter magic, which truly attracted the interest of young readers. The children were given books as a nice gift.
The purpose of the event: to form a sustainable interest in the book as a source of knowledge; expand and consolidate knowledge about winter; develop children’s cognitive and creative abilities; teach teamwork skills.
