12.04. 2024 The Central District Children’s Library held a quiz “Local history in Kazakhstan. The World of Kanysh Satpayev» dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of K. Satpayev, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. The founder of the school of metallogeny in Kazakhstan for students of grade 6 “A” of school No. 8. At the event, the librarian spoke about the life and work of the geologist-scientist, the ups and downs, achievements, and contributions to geological exploration. The guys took part in a quiz and asked questions on the topic. A thematic exhibition “I am the son of the country” has been prepared. The purpose of the event: to introduce students to the life and work of Academician K.I. Satpayev, to promote the development of the ability to reason freely, express their opinions, and popularize the scientific heritage of the scientist.
