“Legends, tales of mountains and steppes”

On April 9, 2024, in the Yesengeldin rural library, according to the work program of the “World of Book Inventions” circle, an introduction to the folklore of the Kazakh people “Legends, tales of mountains and steppes” was prepared.
The purpose of the event: to generate interest in
cultural historical past of the Kazakh people.
During the event, children got acquainted with Kazakh legends, testifying to many historical processes of the past, which have become an integral part of the spiritual heritage of the people. Ancient Kazakh legends and traditions, telling how the rivers, lakes, and mountains of the vast steppe were named, have always been a mirror image of the life of distant ancestors.
