«Kui Atasy — Kurmangazy»

On 22.02.2023, the Central District Children’s Library with students of the 3rd «B» class of secondary school No. 7 held a video marathon «Kui Atasy — Kurmangazy», dedicated to the 205th anniversary of K. Sagyrbayuly as part of a special project «A thousand years of steppe folklore and music».
Purpose: the formation of participants’ knowledge based on the study of the musical heritage of Kurmangazy Sagyrbayev.
The librarian introduced the audience to the life and work of the composer of Kazakh kuys Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly. Students of school No. 7 Sabirova Meruert, Kaz Azhar performed the kui «Balbirauyn», Kuanyshbekova Zhanerke, Akhmetzhan Yerasyl performed the kui «Kenes». There was also a review of the book exhibition «Historical Personality».
