The librarian introduced the history of the holiday “Korisu kuni”
March 14 — Welcome Day. On this day, people shook hands, rejoicing that they survived the winter, whether the cattle were alive, because cattle were the main currency in those days.
On Korisu day, Kazakhs visited each other, hugged and congratulated each other on the past year.
