«Keeper of Nature»

On August 14, 2024, the Pokrovskaya rural library held a literary hour «Keeper of Nature» dedicated to the 130th anniversary of V. Bianki. The librarian introduced the children to the biography of the writer. The children also got to know the writer’s work better and learned a lot of interesting things about the world around them. Then she presented the children with the exhibition «Forest Glades from Vitaly Bianki» and reviewed the books of the talented naturalist. Bianki’s most famous book is, of course, «Forest Newspaper». The books presented at the exhibition told young readers how animals and birds greet spring, how they prepare for winter, and what they do every month of the year.
