“Kanysh Satpayev — scientist, citizen, patriot”

On April 12, 2024, in the Sochi Rural Library, as part of events on patriotic education and local history, an evening was held — a portrait of “Kanysh Satpayev — scientist, citizen, patriot”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Kanysh Satpayev. The goal is to introduce students to the scientific heritage left behind by an outstanding scientist, geologist, statesman, organizer and first President of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. The librarian told about the merits of the academician and introduced him to interesting moments from his life.
