“In the World of Medicinal Herbs.”

12/07/2024. The Sergeevsk Rural Library conducted an excursion to nature called “In the World of Medicinal Herbs.” The librarian showed the children medicinal herbs that grow in our region. She also talked about their medicinal properties. Children like plantain know from their parents that they can apply it to the wound. And the librarian spoke about eryngium, licorice, burnet and many other herbs, their properties and where they are used.
The purpose of the event is to develop in children a love for the nature of their native land.
