I will defend the Fatherland

On May 6, 2025, the Poltava rural library held a lesson in courage «I will defend the Fatherland».
The librarian told young readers about the holiday dedicated to all men — defenders of the Fatherland, who protect the borders of our Motherland — this is the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The children learned the history of the holiday, listened to congratulatory poems.
At the end of the event, a «knight’s tournament» was held with the boys.
1 round «Minefield», «Pilots», «Night orientation». The children coped with the task quickly and cheerfully.
The event is aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism, citizenship, physical and moral culture in students, the ability to make friends, and cherish friendship.
A thematic exhibition «The Power of the Army is Strong» was designed.
