“Great names of the Great Steppe”

05/04/2024, as part of the implementation of a special project: “Great names of the Great Steppe”, the rural library of Akan Kurmanov held an evening of remembrance “We live in the world only once”,
dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the first president of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, scientist geologist Kanysh Satpayev.
Goal: to introduce readers to the life and works of the first academician of Kazakhstan. Tell about his interesting biography, what a comprehensively developed person our contemporary was.
The librarian told readers about the life and work of the academician, scientific achievements, and his contribution to the development of geology in Kazakhstan.
