“Favorite of the People”
11.03. 24. On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of the poet, singer and composer Iran Taskara, the Central Regional Library named after Ilyas Yesenberlin organized a post “Favorite of the People” for regular readers of the library.
Iran Taskara was born on March 11, 1939 in the village of Kozha, Omsk Region. At the age of 10, he first picked up a dombra and grew up listening to folk songs and music. However, he chose a profession completely unrelated to music — he studied to become a mining engineer. But art always remained nearby. Many years later, thanks to his talent, people called him Iran sal Taskara. He masterfully performs the traditional folk music of Birzhan Sala, Ukili Ibraya, Akana Sere, thereby spiritualizing and glorifying folk art.
Author of 3 poems and songs “Sagynysh” (1995), “Kokshe Zholy” (1999), “Life of Tirbetken Angyr” (2006). As a poet, singer and composer, he wrote more than 100 songs based on his own words and poems by Kazakh poets, two CDs “Kokshe meuni-1”, “Kokshe meuni-2”, “Akan seri”, “Birzhan sal”, “Ukili ybyrai” «, «Baluan Sholak» and others will perform concerts and songs of Kokshetau singers. Young composers Sakai, Arman Iskhanov, Erlan Tashev will perform songs based on his poems. From the age of 10, he practiced the art of “dombra singing”, for which he became known as “Iranian sal” as an extension of his art.
