Famous Writer

On November 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM, the Timashevskaya Rural Library held a literary hour for all reader groups, «Famous Writer,» dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Sapargali Iskhakovich Begalin’s birth.
The librarian told readers about the life and work of the renowned Kazakh writer, poet, and founder of children’s literature.
Our young readers read his first book, «The Eagle’s Revenge,» published in 1944. A little later, «Zhylkysh Bala» was also published, featuring a story about a little horse herder.
Readers greatly enjoyed his works and ordered several copies.
During the event, students shared their opinions on the themes, ideas, and issues in his works.
