“Experts of History”

On 05/04/2024, the central children’s regional library organized a quiz competition “Experts of History” for primary students of school No. 2. The purpose of the event: to generalize and consolidate knowledge about the names, authors and characters of children’s fairy tales; develop thinking, imagination, interest, attention; organize leisure time for students. Children’s book week has come to an end. “Today we’ll talk again about our best friends — books and sum up the results of the past week,” with these words the presenter opened the event, where the children took part in a quiz competition: “Do you know fairy tales well?”, “Whose portrait is this?”, “Who sent a telegram.» For the club “What? Where? When?» and guests of the library, a book exhibition “Zhusupbek Aymautov — a symbol of the historical era” was decorated. This year the wonderful writer Zhusupbek Aymautov turns 135 years old. The guys learned a lot from the writer’s biography and his works. The invitees enjoyed visiting the following departments: acquisitions, co-working center, library development center, service department, accounting and human resources department. Director of the library Kozhakhmetov Zh.K. congratulated those present on the completion of children’s book week, suggested that they enroll in the library, be active readers and achieve excellent grades in their studies. The students and teachers really enjoyed the event, thanked the library staff and promised to come again.
