«Citizen, writer, journalist»

On September 27, 2024, an information hour «Citizen, writer, journalist» was held in the Sepeyev rural library to mark the 90th anniversary of Sarbas Aktayev’s birth.

a fact from his biography: S. Aktayev is engaged in translating works of world and classical Russian literature. Before starting to translate, he researched the life and work of famous writers, classics of world literature and wrote essays about them. As Sarbas aga himself says, this helped him to better understand the work and character of writers. Thus, with his help, Kazakh readers became acquainted with the stories of M. Sholokhov and R. Kipling, E. Seton-Thompson, T. Dreiser.
goal: to acquaint readers with the life and work of S. Aktayev
