Chokan Valikhanov – A Bright Star of the East

On November 21, 2025, the Pokrovsky Community Center held an informational event, «Chokan Valikhanov – A Bright Star of the East,» dedicated to the 190th anniversary of his birth. Viewers had the opportunity to learn about the life and work of the Kazakh scholar, educator, democrat, ethnographer, and historical and cultural researcher. The library also hosted a book exhibition, «Aqqan Zhuldyz.»
