«Bianki’s Forest Glades»
27.08.24. The Central District Children’s Library has set up a book exhibition called «Bianki’s Forest Glades». The librarian told about the Soviet writer, who turns 130 this year, the author of many works for children, Vitaly Valentinovich Bianki. He loved nature very much, and revealed its mysteries to the youngest readers on the pages of his books. The writer first became famous for his fairy tale «The Journey of the Red-Headed Sparrow», then followed other wonderful works about nature: «Forest Houses», «Little Mouse Peak», «Whose Nose is Better?», «Titmouse Calendar», «Forest Newspaper» and many others. The book exhibition presents books and reproductions of illustrations for the stories of V.V. Bianki. The purpose of the event is to introduce the life and work of the writer and naturalist V.V. Bianki. Based on the writer’s fairy tales and stories, to cultivate love and respect for the natural world; to teach to understand nature, its laws and features. Portrait of V.V.Bianki.
