“Akyn — Improviser”

On May 21, 2024, the Telman Rural Library hosted a creative evening “Akyn — Improviser” with the Sharaina club, dedicated to the outstanding composer K. Shakeev, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of his birth. The librarian presented photographs and spoke about the life and work of the composer. K. Shakeev is one of the brightest original talents, an akyn is an improviser who revived on our land the most popular type of folk art — aitys, a veteran of the Second World War.
